Welcome to Hoxie Feedyard
Hoxie Feedyard Inc. is a 43,000 head capacity commercial cattle-feeding facility located in Northwest Kansas. Built in 1969, Hoxie Feeders – as it was formerly called – was one of the first commercial cattle feedlots in the High Plains. At 8000 head capacity the feedlot was known for being one of the best in the industry.
In 1997, the Tilly family purchased the feedlot from Western Missouri and the Foote Family from Eastern Kansas. The feedyard was subsequently expanded to a capacity of 28,000 head. In early 2000, the Bob and Gail Foote family purchased the facility, and in 2001 it was expanded to its current capacity of 43,000 head. Today, Hoxie Feedyard is a modern, well-kept cattle feedyard, and is still known as one of the finest feedlots in the industry.
