Imperial Beef is situated on the high plains 12 miles north of Imperial, NE and 15 miles south of Grant, NE. Weather conditions are ideal for cattle feeding. An elevation of 3,300 feet provides for cool summer nights. The sun shines 320 days a year. The area has low humidity and only 19 inches of rain per year, with 70% of the rainfall coming in May, June and July.
There is a plentiful supply of high quality water. This allows us to provide double the water drinking space of the industry average. Each 200-foot pen has two water tanks on 15-foot aprons. Two water lines are available for treatment and fresh water.
